Starting next spring, opportunities for international students to learn Korean at PNU will be further expanded.

Pusan National University (PNU) Language Education Institute (LEI) announced they plan to open a new Korean Language Regular Course in the spring semester 2024.

The LEI is educating students from all over the world interested in Korean and Korean culture. As a part of it, they have offered regular classes in spring, summer, fall, and winter under a four-semester system each year. These classes were opened only in the morning, but starting next year, the afternoon class will be newly operated.

The afternoon courses will provide 200 hours of training for a total of 10 weeks, which is the same as the existing regular course. These courses are for beginners who hold a visa in Busan. It is limited to level 1, operates up to two classes, and there will be no level test. In addition, the tuition fee is 10% off on regular morning course tuition.

Applications are open until December 29th. Whoever wants to apply for the course has to submit the required documents in person or by mail to PNU LEI Offices.
