■ Overall report system is positive.

Yoo Ji-Min: The design was neat and unified, looking good. However, I felt the loading speed of the page was slow. Even though the headlines are well made and attracted attention, it would be much easier to read the articles on Instagram than accessing the site. I hope we can access the whole articles and videos on Instagram. Radio broadcasts were also good, so it would be nice if those get a lot of exposure.

Yang Hyeon-Bo: Because the color of the “Channel PNU” website was the same as the school’s homepage, I felt like it was one of the school homepages rather than the independent and differentiated student media.

Boonyanuch Kateboonlue: Even though the newsletter sent through email has better accessibility than paper, it is still an “email,” so I felt it was businesslike and would be difficult to read often.

Kim Yo-Seop: Related articles, videos, and English articles attached at the end of the article were extremely comfortable.

■ Issues on campus are fresh and diverse.

Yang Hyeon-Bo: It was impressive that our school’s media pointed out that the number of new students is “unfilled,” not “fail to reach.” If we report this to the media companies and make a correction, it will be an opportunity for our school media to expand its influence.

Kim Yo-Seop: The follow-up article related to the workers caught my eye. This might be a significant driving force to keep the topic being forgotten on campus.

■ The video contents are taking root.

Yang Hyeon-Bo: If videos are broadcasted on TV, students will be interested, thinking that this level of quality is what our school media had made. The current thumbnail looks neat and good. However, thinking of the inflow, it would be nice to reveal the “identity of student media” rather than emphasize expertise like the existing media.

Yoo Ji-Min: While the design of Instagram’s contents is fine, the thumbnail of videos is not good enough to attract interest. The quality of the videos’ content is good, so we need improvement on the thumbnails.

Boonyanuch Kateboonlue: Interviewing alumni through “Job Quiz” contents was good. However, it reminded me of the existing TV program “You Quiz,” and I started to make a comparison. I felt that our videos’ recorded voice was not clear.

Kim Yo-Seop: I think the overall content has changed stably and organized with system, including video articles that have become much more diverse than before and comprehensive news that seems to have a much more organized system. I suggest putting the desk news of the week on the main screen and exposing the short news playlist below it for YouTube screens.

■ The most urgent thing is promotion.

Yang Hyeon-Bo: Mentioning PNU media at OT for new students might easily increase subscribers. It was hard to hear the integration of PNU media through external channels, not through “Channel PNU.”

Boonyanuch Kateboonlue: Even though we promoted the integrated PNU media through Instagram, the number of YouTube subscribers is still low.

■ We must be active in cooperation between institutions and students.

Yang Hyeon-Bo: It would be nice to cover the details on how PNU students think about current social issues such as the Blue House relocation and covering how the reality of PNU looks like on conflicts between men and women in their twenties. Creating fun content like telling many different departments’ stories that students can be interested in, or even small and daily things, such as interviewing students on the way to school during the exam period, can be an excellent way to deliver the campus atmosphere vividly.

Yoo Ji-Min: Looking at the “Everytime” application, there are many students supporting projects such as “Revitalizing Local Commercial Area.” Cooperating and collaborating with the institutions can be a good idea. In addition, I believe there are many institutions that want to promote and advertise through PNU media.

Boonyanuch Kateboonlue: As an extension of “Job Quiz,” interviewing not only alumni but also PNU members might be good. Through participation, it would be a great opportunity for students who were not interested in “Channel PNU” to get to know “Channel PNU.” I hope “Channel PNU” will appear at every event on campus, such as open club recruitment events held a few days ago at “Neokneokhan Teo.”

Kim Yo-Seop: I believe articles related to “Life” can attract attention, too. Approaching students with more manageable and more understandable topics will be helpful to promote “Channel PNU” to many students. Covering the candidates of the mayor of Busan in the upcoming local elections, I think it will be a driving force to raise students’ interest in our channel and eventually create policies that are conscious of young people.
