Q. Why was the PNC able to grow?

A. There may have been many factors, but I think the knowledge-based future-oriented corporate culture has created today's PNC. This includes bold investment based on thorough market analysis, securing and training outstanding human resources, teamwork culture, enterprising spirit, and new technology management.

Q. What are the PNC’s intended values?

A. There are four key values of the PNC. They are sustainable growth, adaptation and evolution, result generation, and talent training. This is an acceptance of the core value of the parent company, global port operator DP world. PNC's vision is to become a market-leading multinational logistics company. Many terminal facilities, feeder networks and third party logistics companies across six continents around the world will support PNC's vision.

Q. What do you think about the problem of the decreasing youth population in Busan?

A. It can be seen as a social phenomenon that occurs in the reality that the motivation for youth inflow is greater than the motivation for youth outflow. This is a problem that needs to be solved by national policy, but young people should be informed that there are quite a few companies in the Busan area with stable and growth potential, even if they are smaller than the capital area's companies.

Q. What is a way to address regional imbalance?

A. Busan, which is the world's sixth largest port and has the Busan Port, has a sufficient location for shipping, ports, logistics, and finance. Therefore, if efficient national policies are supported and young people with an international sense gather, Busan will develop into a more vibrant city based on these clusters. In addition, I think that this urban development eventually acts as an opportunity to create jobs. Personally, I recommend young people to acquire international language skills or IT skills.

Q. What is the role of PNC in the trade-oriented city of Busan?

A. As a terminal company representing Busan Port, we will play a leading role in securing the highest level of competitiveness at Busan Port. In addition, we continue to carry out corporate social responsibilities such as safety, environment, and volunteer activities.

Q. What PNC image do you want to be recognized by people?

A. I hope that PNC will be recognized by people as a social enterprise beyond simply the image of a port company in Busan. From the beginning of its establishment, we have carried out job creation policies, manpower training, scholarship projects, and financial sponsorship projects. In the case of financial sponsorship projects, we sponsored pediatric cancer patients, improved residential facilities for the elderly living alone, and sponsored briquettes, and we hope it will be recognized as "our neighbor company" that continues to carry out these projects.

Q. Please say something to the young people in Busan.

A. The reality is not easy but don't be afraid of uncertainty. Look at the bigger and wider areas and challenge them. In the end, it's because it's a competition with oneself in a broad sense. I always keep the phrase "You never know until you try it," and I think it would be good for students to have this kind of thinking.
